Le protestantisme en régions - Protestant museums and historical associations
Protestant museums and historical associationsCurrently undergoing translation
3 / 3
In France, a Huguenot museum can be found in quite a few of the regions where there have been many Protestants; here, you will find information about the history of the Reform Movement from its beginnings up to the present day. Most of these museums are managed by the Société de l’Histoire du Protestantisme Français (S.H.P.F.)
The most well known French protestant museum is the Musée du Désert in the Mas Soubeyran in Mialet. There are other, smaller museums which contain valuable souvenirs of the protestant past, so that it may never fall into oblivion.
